PARNAZ SOLTANI

Parnaz Soltani (1996), is an Iranian composer currently living in Switzerland. As a child in Shiraz, Soltani began training classically in both violin and piano, which led her to seek further musical training with Kiawasch Sahebnassagh in Tehran. In 2016 she commenced her studies in Integrative Composition with Dietrich Hahne in Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany.

Today, her interests lie in exploring micro-tonality, modifying instruments, and experimental music. She currently studies composition with Caspar Johannes Walter at the Musik Akademie Basel.
