The form of the concert-performance The Hourglass Bleeds Still refers directly to the concept of the POLIN exhibition: „Blood. Joins and divides „. The works presented are the works of the most eminent composers of recent years (F.Romitelli, Ch.Czernowin, Y.Klartag), which lie on the border of musical genres and are not easily definable. The program of the concert enriched through a video layer, which is an integral part of the venue, represents a kind of whole – it becomes a spectacle of emotions in the aspect of the blood symbol and related musical as well as numerous visual and abstract associations. The highest quality of the event is also ensured by the performers themselves: outstanding musicians of the international Delirium Ensemble,centered around the figure of the conductor Wiktor Kociuban, who is also the author of the con- cept of this exceptional undertaking.
